About Amanda
I am a college graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and I have been teaching algebra since 2013 to students. I know what questions students typically have when facing algebra and I also know how to teach this subject proficiently.

Generally, I will ask that my students provide their background knowledge so we know what to cover in the lesson without wasting time on knowledge the student already possesses. I approach each topic by breaking the process into easy to follow steps and I show some tricks to simplify final answers. I can also show students where the equation is evolved from. I could explain the individual components and concepts to understand each unique problem.

She really takes the time to break down the question for me. She is super patient when I ask her a lot of questions. She also brings materials that I don’t have access to and is really flexible with my schedule.
