About Anna
Ambitious creative with substantial teaching experience. I am 24 years old and have a BA First (Hons) from Goldsmiths in Fine Art.
I also hold A levels in Biology, Chemistry, Art and English Language.
I'm looking for pupils of all abilities - as I am adaptable in working 1 to 1 with a student's specific needs and goals. For example, working towards GCSE’s in either Art & Design, Creative Media, English (Lit and Lang), Science and Geography. Or helping students excel in creative A levels, such as Art & Design, Photography or Media.
As a graduate and a practicing artist, I can assist students with reaching their goals beyond school and A levels, and progress onto further education. Such as, getting on to top art foundation courses, and going on to study creative degrees at top universities. By assisting with application writing and forming high spec portfolios.
I also have a strong creative skill base. And can help with someone wanting to expand their artistic skills in drawing; oil and acrylic painting (in a broad variety of styles and techniques); and essential Adobe Premier and Photoshop skills.
I can also offer my skills in essay writing at BA level, including dissertation planning, writing, and proof reading.
I am friendly and warm; approaching teaching with care, and a relaxed yet ambitious attitude.
My teaching experience includes, but has not been limited to; working as a Teaching Assistant on Camden Art Centre’s varied education programme; freelance teaching acrylic painting classes for adults, at venues including; RAW Labs, Peckham Platform, BFI and Walt Disney Company; working 1:1 with dyslexic adults, aiding application writing skills; and assisting the running of workshops on Heart N Soul’s creative taking-part programme for vulnerable adults.
