About Crystal
I am from Montana in the United States. I have two degrees: I first studied political science specializing in international relations, and then I graduated with a masters degree in French. I studied at Jean Moulin Lyon III University 3 years ago, during this year I had the chance to give English lessons to college students. This year, I am employed by the National Education of France as an English assistant. I work in two colleges and a primary school in the Oise.

At first, I think it is necessary to know “my pupil” in order to know their level and what we will have to work on. I try to understand the learner, their way of understanding language, and their preferred methods of learning. I also consider personal interests in order to adapt my practice. Recently, this has resulted in the use of playful activities (games, books, videos…) in order to best motivate the learner according to what interests them. Above all, learning a language requires regular practice and determination, which is why it is important to me to make it fun so that it is interesting.
