About Lauren
I have nearly four years' experience teaching English as a foreign language. I lived and taught in Barcelona, Spain for three years. I have continued my teaching work online with several academies.
Before embarking on my teaching career, I worked both in social service agencies and law offices. My experience is varied which helps me greatly with my students from many different fields and backgrounds.
I have extreme enthusiasm and knowledge around a variety of other areas such as music, films, yoga, meditation, civic engagement, and advocacy. I incorporate my students' interests into our classes to make sure there is never a dull moment.

I have completed a Master's degree in Social Administration and Bachelor's degree in Sociology, both from American universities.
I am a TESOL certified teacher with nearly four years' experience teaching English as a foreign language, with a focus on Spanish speakers. I also have experience working with learners from China, Japan, France, Portugal, and Mexico.
My technique focuses on vocabulary retention, pronunciation, and colloquial phrases. Speak like a native!
