About Jorren
Hi! I'm a research student in philosophy at St. Andrews. I'm working on my dissertation, a chapter of which just came out in the OUP journal Analysis. When I'm not doing philosophy, I teach SQA English. I have 1000+ hours under my belt. In recent SQA examinations, 80% of my students achieved As, in most cases outperforming predicted grades.

My teaching emphasises clarity and simplicity. I enjoy making life easier for my SQA students, breaking down the main question-types and providing easy-to-follow formulae that guarantee the marks. I offer feedback on assignments throughout the year, setting homework when the student's schedule allows. I am easy-going, focused and reliable.
