About Sandra

Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Sandra, and I hold degrees in Translation and Modern Languages, as well as in Education, specializing in foreign language teaching. I am also a PhD candidate in philology. Passionate about teaching, I have found enduring social connections in this career path, which I continue to cherish. I am committed to creating an educational experience that is enjoyable, memorable, and effective. My teaching method adapts to your learning pace and personal goals, whether it involves preparing for exams, improving your professional communication, or cultural immersion. I have a compassionate approach that allows me to be both strict and rigorous in monitoring my students' progress. It is through their development and the autonomy they achieve that I find my greatest satisfaction. I look forward to contributing to your educational success soon!

About the lesson

Teaching Method I employ a communicative and interactive approach, promoting the immediate use of the Spanish language in diverse and real contexts. Each lesson is structured around a specific linguistic objective, combining grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions. I incorporate multimedia elements such as videos, current articles, and role-playing games to make learning lively and engaging. Typical Lesson Plan A typical lesson begins with a brief discussion and commentary on a current event. Interactive exercises then focus on the lesson’s objective, while speaking activities encourage personal expression. I conclude each session with words of encouragement and an activity to complete for the next session, which helps consolidate what has been learned. What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor What distinguishes me is my commitment to the progress and motivation of my students and my ability to tailor lessons to individual needs, including students with special educational needs. With experience teaching ELE to learners of all ages and nationalities, I am particularly attuned to different learning styles and can adjust my methodology accordingly. I also draw on my life experience across different continents to offer a rich and authentic cultural perspective. Target Audience My lessons are suited to a variety of levels, from complete beginners to advanced students. They are ideal for those preparing for exams, wishing to improve their language skills for professional reasons, or simply eager to enhance their cultural understanding. Courses can be customized to meet specific needs such as business Spanish, Spanish for tourism, or academic Spanish.
