About Emma
I am a native speaker of English, Italian and Swedish and have studied Spanish for eight years. I have a degree in Anthropology and International Development and will be beginning an MA in the fall. I have experience teaching language to people of all ages. I have assisted foreign children to learn English in nursery school in the U.S. In Sweden, I taught refugees of all ages Swedish.

I try to adapt my teaching style to the needs of each student. I find that making the lessons fun and active is particularly useful for keeping students engaged in the learning process. I also try to base the content of my teaching on what a student has expressed interest for.
