My approach as a tutor My name is Lucía, and my goal as a tutor is to help students truly understand what they are learning, not just memorize it. I have a background in Applied Chemistry and Biotechnology, with several years of hands-on laboratory experience. My teaching methodology and techniques -I teach concepts first, followed by guided and independent practice -I break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps -I use visuals, analogies, and real laboratory examples to explain abstract ideas- -I ask questions to check understanding and encourage reflection -I focus on exam-style questions and common mistakes to improve performance A typical lesson: -Each lesson begins with a brief review to identify any gaps or difficulties. I then explain new concepts or revisit challenging material using clear examples. We work through practice problems together before the student attempts similar questions independently, with feedback and support. I end each lesson with a short summary and suggestions for practice to reinforce learning.
