About Kira
I am an Architectural Designer having recently graduating from my Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture RIBA/ARB Part 1 after studying for 5 years. I have been working professionally in practice as a design technician for 6 months on a range of architectural projects from small scale residential to urban masterplanning and landscape design.
Over the last 2 years I have been developing a body of research exploring the relationship between architecture and nature, with in depth analysis on architectural history, philosophy and environmentalism which formed part of my dissertation and final major project during the final year of my degree. Since then I have continued to expand on my research daily and continue the journey I began during my time at university. I am currently writing a series of academic papers and I contribute to my master’s qualification which I will be returning to study next year.
Architecture is my love and passion, and my work is something I will continue to explore throughout my career as an architect, expanding my knowledge and understanding of the subject and the important role it can play for all life on Earth.
As part of my journey so far, I have acquired so much amazing knowledge and experience I am desperate to share with the world. I will soon be starting an online lecture series which will form the platform for people to access my work as it evolves. Educating and inspiring others is something I have become very passionate about as I continue my own journey as an architect and having someone who has genuine love and passion for what they teach is truly magical, something which I feel I can offer to those who wish to start their own journey.

My approach to teaching the subject of Architecture would be through research-based learning. Each lesson would be structured to explore various areas of architecture, specifically tailored to the student and their individual needs as part of the programme.
From design skills to architectural history, each lesson would be focused on a specific area of the subject you wish to explore; starting with an overview and progressively moving into more detail and refining the knowledge of the subject further as we progress.
During this journey I will assign learning objectives and tasks to the individual to encourage self-exploration. As you begin to discover and learn more about architecture, naturally you will find an aspect of the subject that really drives you. Finding this will enable you to establish your position in the architectural world and lay foundations for your individual approach as a designer. I will help you discover your passion and realise your full potential as a future architect. If you already know what you are here for - great!
This teaching programme will assist you on this journey whatever stage you are at. I offer teaching to anyone who wishes to learn more about the incredible world of architecture. Whatever your background, educational history, whether you are studying at degree level or simply want to expand your knowledge through genuine personal interest, it’s never too early or late to start your journey.

After the initial introductory lesson, if the student would like to sign up to a programme of 10+ lessons then a discount will be applied to the overall price.
If you require a regular tuition slot I will be happy to accomodate for this.
If you are unable to attend the lesson in person I am willing to conduct all lessons online.
Cancellations require 24 hours notice. Anything less than this will result in a charge of the full agreed price of the lesson.
