About Susan
I am an architect, currently on a break to apply for master's in landscape design. I have had the pleasure to study in a good English medium school in Delhi NCR, win creative writing competitions and also lead the art department for various programs within and outside school. I was also part of the 'Book Club' that inevitably encouraged me to think creatively and express my thoughts in words. While studying architecture, I researched, documented and formulated my dissertation with the help of my guide. My work also set as a standard for my batch to follow, which would not have been possible without the initiative of my guide. Therefore, I do believe that guiding students to write creatively, yet explain with clear thoughts and facts is a challenge but one that I am willing to take.

My teaching method would be to understand from the student what the topic is, why he chose the topic and see how well he can formulate it in simple words, the first time. Then, we would have to sit on the topic and understand the scope of the subject. We can also bring ideas to the table that seems important to write the subject as a story with a definite start and ending. The methodology will depend strictly on the research of the pupil and his ability to note down correctly all the references so that I can be sure of it too. It will be interesting, then, to see how short or long the sentences can be made to keep our whole topic within the word limit.
