About Kaia
I have 7 years of experience teaching Architecture and mentoring students through design-based learning. I earned a B.Arch in Architectural Design, which gave me strong grounding in both creative development and technical architectural principles. This academic background helps me guide learners with clarity and real-world relevance.
My teaching approach is supportive, structured, and focused on helping students discover their creative voice. I enjoy showing students how ideas evolve into meaningful spaces through step-by-step design thinking. I encourage learners to explore confidently while also building discipline in their work.
Outside tutoring, I stay connected to architecture through sustainability studies, urban design reading, and ongoing project analysis. Teaching architecture is fulfilling because I witness students transform uncertainty into creative clarity. Supporting their growth and confidence is the most meaningful part of my work.

Architecture becomes inspiring when students understand that design is both creative expression and thoughtful problem solving. In my lessons, I guide learners through spatial planning, form development, material awareness, and architectural drawing with calm and supportive instruction. I help students explore how spaces shape human experience, while also building the technical skills needed to communicate ideas clearly. Each session encourages creativity with structure and confidence.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s stage. Beginners focus on sketching basics, proportion, design vocabulary, and simple conceptual exercises. Intermediate learners strengthen drafting techniques, model thinking, site analysis, and design development. Advanced students work on portfolio refinement, architectural storytelling, sustainable design thinking, and project presentation skills. Practice tasks and feedback are included in every class.
Architecture lessons help students grow creatively and intellectually. Learners become more observant, imaginative, and confident in expressing ideas visually. My goal is to support students in building a strong design identity while developing disciplined architectural skills for long-term success.
