About Tamila
"Music has been my constant companion since I first picked up a guitar. I hold an MMus Music Performance degree from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music to support my practice.
My studio focuses on working professionals and students preparing for formal grade exams. I find that intermediate learners often benefit from the same technical rigor as total beginners.
Teaching 422 students has given me a deep appreciation for the way different people solve musical problems. I enjoy watching a student finally master a complex blues progression after weeks of practice. It is fulfilling to see someone gain confidence in their songwriting ability. I truly enjoy the process of turning confusion into clear musical understanding."

"You will find that my pacing is designed to keep you moving forward steadily. I structure each meeting to include direct feedback on lead guitar and tab reading. My teaching style relies on the same discipline I used during my master's degree studies. I work with absolute beginners and exam candidates to ensure no technical gap remains.
We use a free trial session to assess your starting level and set expectations. I enjoy how clear progress builds momentum for my students over time. My focus remains on making sure the material is accessible but technically sound. It is rewarding to guide someone from their first note to a polished performance."
