About Emily
I am a practicing Artist and Art Technician, specifically with an interest in Portrait Painting and Photography. My passion for teaching and education has stemmed from both academic peer assessment and tutoring at University, and my working environment. Surrounded by pupils that have benefited from my help beyond the traditional classroom teacher setting, I believe that my skills gathered from my academic learning as well as my day job have left me equipped to tutor at different levels.
Having only recently left higher education, I am extremely familiar with the structure of assignments and feedback, which has benefited me greatly. I look forward to getting to know you!

I am a mixed media, practicing artist working as an Art Technician at a High School in Salford. Part of my role is curriculum enhancement, where I offer 1-1 tutorials to GCSE students for their academic and practice-based learning.
I have experience in critical thinking and academic writing, and can help add depth and interest to your annotations, essays and dissertations. My Thesis: 'First Entrance: Painting , an examination of the role of Painting in Contemporary Art and its socio-political implications within the Post-Digital Discourse' achieved a Distinction at Masters Level.
I teach all ages from YEAR 10 all the way into Level 7!
