About Tasneem
I’m currently finishing my second year at City College of New York pursuing a BA in Studio Art with a minor in Creative Writing. I’ve worked as a digital designer for the past three years, won an award for designing the BLM Action Week logo in 2024, and I regularly sell my paintings. I’m also an author and launched my own art and writing journal last June, where I combine visual art with creative writing.

I bring both skill and relatability to my lessons. Because I started working in art and digital design at a young age and I’m still a college student, I connect easily with younger learners and understand how to explain techniques in a clear, encouraging way. I believe art is about communication and learning how to express ideas visually, so I focus on helping students build confidence while improving their drawing, painting, and creative thinking skills. I’m also fun and engaging:)
