About Anishta
I've always aspired to be both an artist and a teacher, inspired by my educator parents. I have a deep passion for art and enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with others. Teaching allows me to pass on my expertise and inspire others to explore their creativity. Witnessing students' progress and seeing them discover their artistic abilities is incredibly fulfilling for me. It's rewarding to be a source of inspiration and motivation for aspiring artists. It brings me immense pleasure to contribute to the growth of the art community by nurturing the next generation of artists. I feel it's most artist educators' responsibility to pass on their skills and contribute to the development of the art world.

My teaching methodology is student-centered, tailoring instruction to individual abilities. I aim to make art enjoyable and accessible, starting from basics or higher levels. Lessons are personalized, featuring exciting tasks to advance your chosen topic. All ages and skill levels are welcome, whether beginners or those seeking skill development, portfolio enhancement, or help with arts funding. Lessons are one hour long, with assigned tasks between sessions, such as sourcing materials or researching techniques. They include both discussions and practical instruction. I support young artists entering competitions or preparing for art school with clear step-by-step guidance. My teaching approach includes weekly mentoring, regular feedback, task setting, and sharing relevant research documents for your projects. I cover a wide range of areas, including art college portfolio preparation, specific art/design projects, graphic design career guidance, art and design research, skills enhancement, Leaving Cert Practical Exam support, advice and consulting, charcoal drawings, gold leaf gilding, drawing, life drawing for beginners and intermediates, process art, and abstract mixed media art. Online and in-person tutoring is available for individuals or groups of up to three in South County Dublin and North Wicklow.
