About Kayla
I am currently a senior in highschool and I have 6 years of playing experience. I am heavily involved in the Huntington Beach Acedemy for the Performing Arts Orchestra and I have placed principal chair in District Honor Band and Cerritos Collehe honor band. I am currently flute section leader in my school's band program and have 1 year of tutoring experience.

My teaching method is very interactive. I want my students to be playing pieces that are not only educational, but something they enjoy playing as well. I always have my students reflect on their playing in order for them to fine-tune their ear and learn how to express musicality in their own way.
