About Charlotte

My name is Miss Cooper. I teach Science full time in a secondary school in Birmingham. I have a postgraduate certificate in education and I am a fully qualified teacher, not just an Internet tutor, so I know what I'm doing! I got into university through a scholarship exam not many people got past- so it is also safe to say I understand exams like the back of my hand. I have got countless students through their GCSE's and improved grades from U's to G5's in Combined Science F tier. Had record numbers of G9's in Combined Science & Separate Science H tier.

I'm "young and fun" (as my students I teach full time have said). With a BSc in Zoology I have a real passion for my subject & science in general. Continuously attending professional development sessions on how to teach the tricky topics in Physics and Chemistry. I know how to bring tutoring to life with quirky facts to remember things & real world applications from my experiences or those around me. I have many ready made resources to share and help you be the best you can be. We have all been there once, so let's get on this journey together. My sessions will be student led- whatever you need we will cover. Including both explanation and practice opportunities.
