About Grant
I am a retired Assistant Professor of English. I taught English Composition, Rhetoric, and Introduction to Literature with an average class size of 18-30 students. I am still in contact with some students who are now professionals in their career field.

My teaching method is based on a patience and repetition approach (keep explaining until the student has internalized it). I have an empathic approach, meaning that I put myself in the position of the student that I am tutoring. Understanding his/her apprehension, I encourage the student to ask as many questions as he or she needs to.
