About Ezra

Hi, I’m Ezra, an astrophysics student at the University of Florida with years of experience working closely with kids and teens as a camp counselor and academic mentor. I take pride in being patient, clear, and dependable, someone students can feel comfortable learning with. My background in science and coaching has taught me how to break down complex ideas into simple, relatable steps. I approach every session with a focus on building confidence, not just understanding the material. I am here to help students reach their goals, whether that means improving grades, preparing for a test, or gaining long-term skills. I am committed to creating a safe, encouraging, and effective learning environment tailored to each student's needs. Your success is my priority.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is all about making learning approachable, engaging, and confidence building. I’ve worked with students of all ages as a camp counselor, coach, and academic mentor, and I bring that same supportive energy into every lesson. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style and goals. A typical lesson starts with a quick review to reinforce past material, followed by step-by-step practice with new concepts using examples, visuals, or analogies to simplify tough topics. I always encourage questions and make sure students feel comfortable making mistakes, since that’s how we grow. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students. I’m patient, energetic, and know how to keep things focused without being boring. As a college student studying astrophysics, I understand both what it’s like to be in a tough class and how to break it down into something manageable. My lessons are ideal for middle school and high school students looking for help in math, physics, and general science. Whether you’re catching up, getting ahead, or just trying to pass with confidence, I’ve got your back.
