About Xavier
Hi, I'm a university student studying Quantum Engineering, eager to continue helping students reach their potential throughout high school, and like to help students understand the theory behind what they're learning. Outside of academics, I love to play sports and go to the beach a lot.

Hi, I'm Xavier, a recent HSC graduate from manly selective with a 96+ atar and a strong background in high school maths and physics. I achieved a 95 in Maths Advanced, a 94 Extension 1 HSC Mark and 92 Physics HSC Mark, ranking 3rd in grade for Maths Advanced and 1st for Software Engineering.
With multiple years of experience in tutoring, what really shapes my teaching is that I understand how to improve when you haven't been "naturally good". Earlier in high school I was ranked bottom 10 in my grade before working up to 3rd overall, because of this I understand exactly where students get stuck, why concepts don't always click the first time, and how to explain ideas clearly and patiently.
I focus on building strong foundations, clear problem solving strategies and confidence, especially for students feeling overwhelmed and discouraged. My goal isn't just to improve marks but to help students genuinely understand what they're doing to feel capable going into exams and assessments.
I will be commencing a bachelor of Quantum Engineering (Honour) at UNSW, further strengthening my mathematical and physics background.
