About Valerie
I completed a Bachelor of Arts (major in Chinese Language) at the Australian National University in 2019. Being raised in a Cantonese-immigrant family, Cantonese became my first language. I gain interest in Mandarin at around 10 years old and became fluent in a matter of months. Despite being able to communicate in Mandarin like a native, I went and studied it in university to gain a fuller understanding of the language, of interpreting and translation Chinese and more importantly learning more about the ancient culture.
