Bonjour! Hi there! I'm Bruno, a 40-year-old native of Trois-Rivières, Québec.
French isn't just a subject I studied, it's the language I grew up living and breathing in the heart of Quebec. As a fully bilingual francophone, I bring authentic, real-world French to every lesson, from the nuances of Québécois expression to standard French as spoken in France (yes, I visited in 2024!).
My background is anything but traditional. I spent 7 years as a police officer, 5 years as a Royal Canadian Navy reservist, and 4 years as a bilingual pre-board screening officer at airports across Canada. Every one of those roles demanded clear, confident, and precise communication in both official languages under pressure. I know what practical French looks like in the real world.
I'm also a language learner myself, currently working toward fluency in Portuguese. So I genuinely understand the challenges, the frustrations, and the breakthroughs that come with learning a new language. That empathy shapes how I teach.
What sets me apart? I have a natural ability to connect quickly with new people and make them feel comfortable. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to polish your conversational skills,
