About Fergus
I’m an Australian entrepreneur who has spent my career building businesses and charities, raising millions in funding and working with teams to bring ideas to life. Along the way I’ve been recognized through awards such as 30 Under 30 and Australian Entrepreneur of the Year.
I enjoy teaching because business is often explained in a very theoretical way, when in reality it’s about understanding how ideas work in the real world.
I work with students and aspiring founders to make business concepts clear, practical and interesting, helping them build confidence in the subject and apply what they learn beyond the classroom.

My lessons focus on helping students understand business concepts clearly and apply them in real-world situations, rather than simply memorizing theory.
For VCE and university students, I help break down topics such as marketing, operations, finance and strategy, and show how to structure answers for case studies, exams and assignments so they score well.
Because I have experience building real businesses and raising capital, I can also explain how these concepts actually work in practice, which helps students grasp them much faster.
For entrepreneurs or side hustlers, sessions focus on validating ideas, developing business models, marketing strategy and turning ideas into real businesses.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s improving grades, preparing for exams, or building a business idea.
