About Jason
I am a professional portrait, commercial and event photographer with experience teaching all ages, who also holds a degree in broadcasting and film from Niagara College. I have been working in the industry since I was thirteen, and now have over seven years of experience. I've taught at the elementary, high school and college levels, and am head judge for Skills Ontario. I also won the Canadian National Championships for photography at Skills Canada in 2016. Jason introduced my high-school girl to photography. He helped my daughter explore different categories of shooting, so she identified what she likes and what she doesn't. Jason is super patient and knowledgeable, he taught everything a beginner needs to know, like gears, composition, editing. Especially, he would critique and edit the photos together with my daughter which is very helpful. On top of that, Jason is also a super-communicator, he makes online lessons and after-lesson communications very easy. I'd highly recommend Jason as a photography teacher.
Jason has been a teacher of mine for about a year now. He is amazing and so flexible. He has made my photography experience turn into knowledge. If anyone is just starting out or is rusty and needs refreshers I would recommend Jason everytime.
