About Lauren
I earned by BA in English from the University of Florida in 2012, where I focused on Medieval and Early Modern English literature (basically everything between Beowulf and Shakespeare) and completed minors in History and Classical Studies. I specialized in Shakespeare and medieval drama, personally. I also earned my Masters degree in Historic Preservation in 2015.

I focus on helping students interpret the literature mainly through a historical lens. Understanding what was going on when something was written can help students understand the story and make connections to the modern day. I am patient and thorough in assisting with reading comprehension and writing.
