About Maxine
I am a lover of reading and average about a book a week. I enjoy it so much that I decided to write two of my own books.
Books are a great way of learning about the world and understanding different viewpoints and perspectives. I believe reading helps us develop empathy, critical thinking and the ability to step back and analyze a situation before forming a full opinion.
By reading, we can learn so much about parts of the world we don't have access to. It bridges the gap and brings the global community one step closer to you.

Through reading and learning to analyze books you can learn so much about yourself and learn to articulate your thoughts and opinions. In our lessons you will learn how to summarize books and turn opinions into strong, supported arguments. Imagery, vocabulary, foreshadowing and more, are all writing techniques I can teach you to identify, all of which will help with essay writing.
I am also very particular about grammar and enjoy using a large vocabulary. I can help with essay writing and proofreading.
