About Deeya
When I was in high school, I started tutoring as a casual job. I learned quickly that the job could be very lucrative and rewarding when the effort was put in. I enjoy helping people learn difficult material, as I know what it feels like to try and overcome a learning curve. I am good at adapting to different people and their learning styles.

I really like using a combination of the Socractic method, followed by eapplication. The socratic method is all about getting to know your current level of understanding by asking questions; I'll ask you some, and you get to ask me some. I will follow this up by answering and explaining what is unclear to you. Then we will continue by doing some application, usually with real life examples and/or problem sets.
A lesson will go from an hour to two hours, but no longer.
I have tutored peers, as well as younger high school students in the past. Happy to help anyone over the age of 12.
