About Rodrigo
I started my musical studies at 14 years old. In 2010 I entered the Superior School of Music under the instruction of Mario Beltrán del Río and concluded my training in the class of Oman Kaminsky. For two years I was part of "Sonidero 13" an ensemble focused on experimental music. Likewise, my interest in interdisciplinarity led me to take a Soundpainting course, a universal sign language for live multidisciplinary composition, which was taught by its creator Walter Thomson and to be part of the transdisciplinary diploma in research, experimentation and artistic production "Transitos", directed by the National Center for the Arts. I was part of the musicalization of the play "Niños de Morelia" and have presented in ensemble and as a soloist in different venues including the Museum of the Revolution, the House of Leon Trotsky Museum, the House of Culture Jesús Romero Flores , Bucareli 69, the Tlatelolco University Cultural Center and the Blas Galindo auditorium.

I like to teach based on the tastes and interests of each student. From them we establish goals and generate a methodology that combines practical and theoretical aspects so that it can gradually be expressed through the instrument playing the piece or song that you like and understanding the theoretical aspects present in music.

Rodrigo me dio clases de guitarra durante un año escolar en una de las escuelas del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes.
Es muy tranquilo y paciente y te ofrece opciones según tus nivel y metas que te propongas. Yo tenía mucha tensión en la mano izquierda y los dedos de la derecha se me tropezaban con las cuerdas, estuvimos trabajando y ya no tengo esos problemas.
Es muy buen maestro, te indicará el camino a seguir y el repertorio apropiado, sobre todo si planeas hacer estudios superiores del instrumento en alguna Universidad.Mi experiencia como alumno del maestro Diego ha sido de las mas gratificantes en mi trayectoria como alumno de música.
A pesar de haber sido corto el tiempo, su ayuda, sus conocimientos y su manera de explicar fueron de gran ayuda para poder mejorar bastante mi postura, mi técnica y en general la calidad de mis sonidos.
