About Tiffany
As a full-time teacher and a parent of four teenagers, I understand both the academic and emotional sides of learning. I take great pride in my work as an educator and tutor, always striving to ensure students get the most out of every lesson. I also recognize that tutoring can sometimes feel like a chore, especially for busy kids—which is why I aim to make each session both enjoyable and meaningful. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident, motivated, and successful.

The key to improving in any subject is helping students to retrain their brain on what they have decided they are “good at” or “bad at”. I get to know students to tailor each lesson to their needs. I use multiple methods to teach math for Kindergarten through 8th graders. This may include visual cues, math manipulatives, fun rhymes or sayings, math games or math stories. I take a similar approach with science. Science to me has always been a very visual subject. Memorization is only as good as the visual knowledge we acquire. I ensure that each lesson meets the needs of the student and use any resources necessary to help students master each topic from earth science to biology. Statistics is a unique subject in that while it is math at its core, we use it in several other topics such as science and business. I like to relate statistical formulas back to real world scenarios to ensure students are getting the most out of each lesson.
