About Sabrina
I am a vocal tutor with a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance and over 4 years of teaching experience. My lessons are designed for singers of all levels, from school learners to professional performers. I specialise in Broadway and musical theatre, with an emphasis on acting through song and stage confidence. Belt technique and vocal agility are key areas of focus, helping singers master demanding repertoire. I also bring ear training, harmony, improvisation, and theory into lessons for well-rounded growth. Building vocal confidence is central to my teaching philosophy. Lessons are personalised, interactive, and supportive, giving each student the tools they need. Safe vocal practices are at the heart of my approach, ensuring lasting health and power. I teach singing with a focus on technique, health, and artistry. With my method, students learn not only how to sing but how to preserve their voices for a lifetime. Vocal stamina is a major part of my approach, especially for performers who tour or sing often. Breath support, stage presence, and belt technique are developed carefully. I provide guidance on managing vocal fatigue and pacing energy. Pre- and post-performance care is taught to ensure healthy recovery. The soloist in training is supported in building confidence, expression, and agility. The church ensemble player is guided in blending, harmonising, and protecting their voice during long services. I also incorporate ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory into lessons. My teaching style is interactive and supportive, encouraging safe exploration.
