About Jadene
I bring over 9 years of experience in theater, film, and television, helping actors tap into their full potential with confidence, clarity, and craft. I hold a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch (with minors in Business and Producing) and have trained with some of the most respected names in the industry.
I’ve worked on major productions in both New York and LA and am fully represented by top-tier agencies and managers. In our sessions, you’ll get the kind of training usually reserved for professional sets and conservatory classrooms—adapted to your unique style, goals, and personality. We’ll cover everything from audition prep, self-tape technique, and character development to mindset, presence, and navigating the business side of acting.

Hi, I’m Jadene. I coach actors who are ready to take their craft seriously and have fun doing it.
As your acting coach, I take a deeply personalized approach, rooted in understanding your unique gifts and potential blind spots. My goal is to help you connect authentically with your craft and guide you toward reaching your fullest potential. Here's my philosophy:
Method & Techniques:
I blend classic acting techniques—Stanislavski, Meisner, and Uta Hagen—with intuitive, modern methods to bring truth to imaginary circumstances while nurturing your artistic growth. In a competitive industry, no one can beat you at being you. I’ll help you uncover and amplify your authentic voice on stage, encouraging you to dig deep into your sincerity.
Every lesson is about honing your craft from the inside out, so you can show up with presence and confidence in every audition, role, and moment.
Typical Lesson Plan:
I. Warm-Up: Preparing the Artist
We’ll begin each session by grounding your body, voice, and mind:
- Physical Activation: Ease tension and increase physical awareness through targeted stretches and dynamic movements.
- Vocal Warm-Ups: Breathwork and resonance exercises to build vocal strength, clarity, and projection.
II. Emotional Grounding & Improvisation: Cultivating Presence
A combined focus on mindfulness and improvisation to unlock authenticity and spontaneity:
- Character Centering: Mindfulness exercises and guided visualizations to foster focus, vulnerability, and readiness to connect. Also will help flesh out inner worlds and imagination.
- Improv Games: Playful, instinctive exercises to enhance real-time responsiveness, deepen your emotional availability, and help you remain present in the moment.
- Scenario Practice: Real-world scene challenges to balance grounded emotional work with spontaneous reactions.
III. Scene or Monologue Work: The Core of the Lesson
Focused exploration of material to develop your unique voice and character:
- Cold Reads: Begin with a fresh approach to unlock initial instincts and pinpoint areas for refinement.
- Text Analysis & Character Development: Delve into the text, specify relationships, circumstances and motivations. We’ll find and unlock your character’s most honest and grounded expression- looking for truth.
- Scene Exploration: Rework and refine your performance, incorporating specific notes and experimenting with creative choices in the moment.

What Sets Me Apart:
I have a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch and a deep respect for the craft of acting. I’m passionate about helping you grow as an artist and pursue your dreams. I’ve trained extensively on both coasts, starting at Michael Woolson Studio in Los Angeles, then moving to the Atlantic Theatre Company Conservatory and the Stonestreet Studios Residency Program in New York. I continue to study in an advanced private workshop in Los Angeles and take improv classes at Upright Citizens Brigade.
But more than technique, I bring real-world industry experience to our lessons. I’m not just teaching you how to act; I’m teaching you how to navigate the industry. From auditions to self-promotion, I’ll help you understand how to stand out as a performer, starting with an in-depth understanding of your humanity, your drive, and what fuels your passion for this work.
