About Jane
I am a senior nutrition student at Baylor university with in-depth knowledge of chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, and biochemistry. I have one year of experience as a teaching assistant for a general chemistry professor in Baylor's chemistry department, and also teach general science lessons to students from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua each week.

I am an undergraduate student with qualifications to tutor students anywhere from middle school through the undergraduate level. I approach teaching from the belief that studies are to be enjoyed, and so I make every effort to connect what we are learning with the student's personal interest. I also believe that we learn most when we are in an environment that cultivates full knowledge of a subject rather than simple memorization. I work with my students to help them learn the material on their own, rather than giving them the answers. I will help develop critical thinking skills. I am also able to work with different learning preferences, such as visual learning or auditory learning.
