About Maya
I am a piano tutor with 6 years of teaching experience and a BM in Sacred Music (Piano/Organ). My lessons combine academic training with practical performance in ragtime, stride, and early jazz styles. These historical genres help students develop rhythm, coordination, and expressive phrasing. I work with both school-aged learners and adults who are passionate about piano. Lessons include left-hand techniques, improvisation, and style-specific exercises.
