About Alicia
I have been an elementary teacher and middle school math teacher. I grew up in Rhode Island and moved to Florida to help my elderly parents. I went to college at Roger Williams University and Lesley University majoring in Social Science and Education.

My lessons will be at your pace to understand the difficulties that many students experience with many math curriculums. Twenty eight, 29, or 30 students to one teacher can be overwhelming compared to 1 teacher to 1 student personalized instruction.

Alicia has been a teacher since 1995. I was struggling with Alg 1 in 8th grade. I had her for math in 7th grade. She was patient and took the time to explain concepts in Alg 1 that helped me to understand harder concepts that I am currently learning in high school. If you want your math score to rise and understand concepts more easily this is one of her gifts.
I had Alicia as an AVID coordinator providing us focused notes and other wicor strategies to succeed. In tutorials , she spent extra time with me to have my math FSA 7th grade math score from a 1 to a 5. Hiring her for private online or in person tutoring is money well spent. We will use her next year for Alg 1 honors. :)
