About James
A countertenor and former male soprano, I have been singing with choirs and as a soloist for over 30 years. I work in different music genres (classical, gospel, contemporary, to name a few). I have also worked in education as an after-school program instructor and private tutor for many years. I'm easy to work with, pretty chill with my teaching style, and willing to help you reach your music/singing goals.
Note: I charge a fee to help with traveling to/from clients. Please ask about this when considering my services.

If you ever wanted to see if singing lessons were for you, I'm the person to come to. I work with all ages of first-timers, beginners, and intermediate singers. I help with Basic Musicianship, Tone/Pitch, Range, Fundamentals, Audition Prep, and Audition Piece Selection. I work with individuals and groups (small ensembles to full choirs).
(Note: This is offered as an in-person course only. Any music-related lesson must be given at the client's home or mutually agreed upon location. Piano/keyboard must be available.)
