About Will
I want to teach and am so passionate about teaching because growing up in New Zealand I had to search far and wide to find vocal coaches that had experience with jazz, and I would love to change that. I hold Grade 8 vocal certifications from Trinity College London and I am a Berklee College Of Music scholarship recipient (where I have been in Boston for some summer semesters) where I am to go to further my studies next year.

I started in choral music and classical piano but my passions lie in jazz, contemporary music, and vocal coaching.
After graduating Burnside High School's Specialist Music Programme in Christchurch, I refined my skills further through two summer semesters at Berklee College of Music in Boston. I have Grade 8 vocal certifications from Trinity College London and a Grade 6 piano certification from ABRSM.
As a vocal coach my main points of difference is that I know what it is like to be a performer, not just someone on the other side of the room instructing, I have performed at events including Auckland's Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, the All-Star Big Band Festival, and various competitions and ensemble performances. Typically my lessons range from half an hour to an hour based on preference and I'm more than happy to take on any vocal level to help bring out the best in your voice :)
