About Betty
Betty works as an Online Vocal Tutor with Hampstead Music School and W.K.M.T. Music School, both based in London. As their vocal teacher, Betty has gained a wealth of experience teaching pop, rock, classical and musical theatre vocals. Betty is competent in preparing students for vocal examinations in classical and pop/rock. She teaches syllabi from both A.B.R.S.M and R.S.L. These examinations are available to take online and you will be awarded a Graded Certificate upon completion.

Betty's lesson plans consist of beginning each lesson focusing on the breath and warming up the voice. She then spends ten minutes of the lesson working on music theory with her students so they better understand sight-reading, rhythm, chord changes, dynamic change and more. She spends the remainder of her lesson working on new vocal material with her student in their preferred genre.
