About Laura
I am a professional Second Language teacher specialising in ESL (English as a Second Language) and French as a Second Language for students of all ages. I hold a TEFL certification, along with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in psychology from the UK. I've worked as an Second Language teacher in South Korea for the past three years and in that time I taught all types of classes such as essay writing, phonics and even music! I focus on new learners and apply my knowledge of psychology to create engaging lessons catered to my student's needs.
I am bilingual in French and English, and I also speak Korean, allowing me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. I pride myself on being bright, kind, and attentive, always putting my students' needs first!

In my French FSL lessons, we'll focus on improving your conversation skills and pronunciation, with lessons customised to fit your unique learning style. I mostly teach English and Korean speakers with little to no experience with French, or for those wanting to improve their French skills.
I offer 60-minute sessions that are fun and interactive. To make learning more enjoyable, I use extracts from movies, TV shows, articles and songs to teach new vocabulary. I’m also happy to provide homework for extra practice. My goal is to make learning French feel natural and enjoyable—let's get started!
