About Despina
I have been giving lessons since five years ago, when I was approached by an older woman about helping her work on her reading and writing skills in Greek. I continued to work with this woman for three years on a weekly basis, and helped her improve her reading and writing dramatically. I have also had four younger students, between the ages of 4 and 8, in the past couple of years

I am a Greek-American attending university in London, and have experience working with students mainly at beginner and intermediate levels. I am fluent in both Greek and English, having been raised speaking both languages.
I tend to be quite flexible and tailor my lesson plans to my students' needs as different people learn in different ways and at different rates. I do like to have some fun while I'm teaching though, and my lessons often include music, poetry, games, and stories.
