About Danilynn
I’m a patient and friendly online Mandarin tutor with experience as an IELTS Speaking teacher. I specialize in helping teens and young adults build real confidence in speaking, listening, and understanding Chinese, even if they’re starting from zero. My lessons are structured but relaxed: I clearly explain concepts in both English and Chinese, use real-life examples, and adapt the pace to each student so they never feel rushed or embarrassed to ask questions. Hi, I’m a friendly online Mandarin tutor who mixes clear structure with a fun, low-pressure vibe for beginner and lower-intermediate teens and young adults. In each lesson, we start with a quick warm-up, then do simple conversation, learn new vocabulary and grammar in context, and finish with guided practice plus a small recap or optional homework. I draw on my experience as an IELTS teaching assistant to explain Chinese using simple English comparisons, so grammar, tones and characters feel more logical and less scary.
