About Yasmin
Hi! My name is Yasmine, I’m 27 years old, originally from Iran, and I moved to Canada at 25 to start my master’s degree journey. I’m an engineer who somehow ended up loving languages just as much as numbers — I speak Persian, English, and a little Spanish too. As someone who learned English as a second language, I understand how challenging it can feel at first, which is why I love helping others make the process easier and more enjoyable.
Outside of teaching, you’ll probably find me swimming, drinking my fifth coffee of the day, or convincing myself that caffeine is basically a personality trait at this point.
I’m naturally patient, creative, and easy to talk to, and I believe learning works best when students feel comfortable, confident, and actually enjoy the process.
