About Avery
I am currently an honors Biology and Public Health student studying at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, otherwise known as Virginia Tech, in order to become a future physician. I graduated high school with highest honors with a position in my class top ten, as national honors society president, and as student body president. I additionally come from a family filled with teachers and educators who I have assisted for years so I have a vast amount of experience with students.

My personal goal is to have a functional, productive, and enriching experience with every lesson. I will put in the effort to build a relationship with students to ensure their comfort and to personalize each of their sessions to their personal needs. I am willing to provide studying tactics and assist in test preparation for any subject from kindergarten to twelfth grade. A typical lesson will involve an initial conversation to overview what the student is studying, a "plan setting" stage to organize productive plan to benefit that specific student, and lastly an implementation period which can spread throughout many lessons where I will actively assist the student in abiding by that plan and being confident in their course/courses.
