About Tanvir
Hello! I'm keen on teaching because I absolutely love to support students in developing their comprehension and confidence. Biology has always intrigued me, and I want to foster that interest in you. I completed a degree in Microbiology at North University of Bangladesh and I'm now undertaking a Master's degree at Nottingham Trent University (NTU). After two years in teaching, I have witnessed firsthand the difference the right support can make. I want to create a supportive, engaging atmosphere that allows the process of learning to feel effortless and enjoyable. I want to support you in reaching your potential; be it in exams or the next stage of your career.

As a tutor of biology for students ranging from class 6 to class 12, my teaching approach is student-centred and focused on results. I recognise that every student learns differently, so I modify my teaching style to each student’s needs, be it breaking down a complex concept into simpler ideas, using diagrams, real-life examples, or practising past papers together. I aim to create a strong foundation for each student in biology, my end-goal is to not have them memorise content, but understand the content. Most lessons range from 60 to 90 minutes depending on student needs. I received my Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from North South University, Bangladesh, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree from Nottingham Trent University (NTU) in Biomedical Science. I had taught for two years back in Bangladesh where I visibly saw students become more confident while academically performing better. My lessons are designed for school students in class 6 to 12 wanting to build their understanding of biology, prepare for exams, and succeed academically.
