About Simrita
I am a Biology tutor with over four years of teaching experience and a BSc in Biological Sciences. My academic background is strongly rooted in plant physiology and agricultural science. I enjoy teaching how plants grow, adapt, and respond to their environment. Key topics include photosynthesis, nutrient uptake, water transport, and plant hormones. My teaching approach in Biology focuses on clear thinking and deep understanding, especially in neuroscience and brain sciences. I teach topics such as brain structure and function, neurons and synapses, neural signaling, sensory systems, and motor control. I also cover cognitive neuroscience, neurodevelopment, neurophysiology, and common neurological disorders. Each topic is broken down using a deep analytical review so students understand not just *what* happens, but *why* it happens.
I use structured case studies to connect theory with real biological and medical situations. This helps learners see how nervous system concepts apply to health, disease, and clinical decision-making. Special attention is given to Pre-Med students and Olympiad participants who aim for high academic standards. Lessons are challenging but supportive.
