About Heather
I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering and have been tutoring math and science for 8 years. Some topics that I have taught include algebra, trigonometry, calculus, biology, and anatomy. I have tutored at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. My favorite part about tutoring is giving kids exposure and confidence in the S.T.E.M field.

My teaching approach will vary depending on the student being taught. I don’t believe everyone learns in the same fashion so over time, I may change my approach if a student is still struggling. I typically emphasize demonstration, repetition, hands on learning, and guided problem solving.
