About Jorge
I discovered my passion for teaching at University, when I was studying Biomedical Engineering and had the opportunity to tutor freshmen in Biology as well as Calculus.
It was a great experience to personalize each tutoring lesson for the right content and each person's interests and expectations.
I have since graduating been working in a research lab, where I occasionally perform guest lectures at a University. After publishing my work, I am intending to move away from the research field and back into the educational one, as it provides me with more interest.
I am looking forward to adapt to my student's needs and to try and make the subject as interesting and relevant as possible!

I have a mixed approach to teaching, where I would combine the typical curriculum based-lesson with real examples of the subject in question.
I also like to stimulate the students to do work on their own in a way that they can find their own interest in the discipline.
Lessons will be 1 hour, with possibility of extension if needed.
I have tutored University students in the field of Biology and Bioengineering for 2 semesters.
I am available to tutor all school and University levels, but will prioritize high school and University students.
