Techniques and approach:
My approach is patient, empathetic, and tailored to each child's language level, especially for non-native English speakers. I use visual aids, phonics exercises, and conversational practice to improve oral skills. For reading and writing, I focus on vocabulary, sentence structure, and spelling through engaging, step-by-step activities. With experience teaching English as a second language, I strive to make learning both fun and confidence-boosting for every child.
Structure:
Each 60-minute lesson starts with a review and pronunciation practice, followed by reading, writing, or spelling activities based on the child's needs. I encourage active participation and provide ample opportunities to practice speaking in a supportive environment. Homework or practice exercises are assigned to reinforce learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
I have voluntary experience teaching Sunday school to children aged 5 to 16, developing patience and creativity to engage learners of all levels. I also specialize in helping non-native English speakers build confidence in speaking and writing.
