About Kate
Hello! I am an enthusiastic and hardworking student with a passion for the sciences. I am currently studying Bachelor Biomedical Sciences in the University of Maastricht. I have also completed a medical summer course within the Oxbridge summer school and underwent work experience in the hospital Dritter Orden in Munich, DE. I received 44 points in the IB with a 7 in both HL chemistry and HL biology. As someone who finished IB, I know how tough the course is, therefore it is important to have some help to keep up with the demanding scientific subjects. I have developed exercise-dependent strategies for myself throughout my educational career that allowed me to succeed in the IB.

The sessions are aimed for students within the IB programme and years below. I would be happy to teach you and explain any topic you do not understand in a patient and visual manner. Together we can go through past paper questions, your IA and general materials, solving any problems you have. Other than chemistry and biology, I can also help with math AASL, english Lit/Lang and TOK. I have experience preparing my peers for the exams and also teaching problem-based-learning medicine to 11th grade. My typical lesson length is 1 hour but this can be extended (or shortened) upon request.
