About Luke
My name is Luke. I've been playing the piano for over ten years and graduated from WITS University with my BMus Honours. I majored in composition but have experience in a wide range of skills including jazz piano, orchestration, music production amongst many.
My passion lies in helping learners to grow, not only in terms of their musical abilities, but also with regards to life skills gained when overcoming the struggle of learning a new instrument and grasping the theoretical aspects involved. I believe that music offers a unique opportunity to teach discipline and a sense of achievement, both of which in my view, will stay with the student for the rest of their life.

Luke was a great tutor, really helped me with the basics, as well as moved me onto the more advanced aspects of music theory. Always well prepared and very patient when teaching the basics. Very easy to talk to and is great and giving easy to understand advice. Highly recommend!
