About Arjun

I am currently traveling across the United States, working on a book project. I have been practicing meditation and mindfulness on a personal level since 2010 and guiding groups and coaching individuals since 2018. I am qualified (with Centre for Mindful Living in UK) in the gold-standard mindfulness-based stress reduction program which is taught in hospitals and corporate settings. I completed my 200-hr meditation teacher training in 2023 with Three Jewels in New York and am certified in behavior change coaching. For the past 3.5 years I have been working in psychedelic medicine, having coached hundreds of people through psychedelic therapy...that's the boring bit over.

I have honed my accent and voice through mindfulness practice, having delivered hundreds of online meditation sessions for individuals and groups, I have to work on the tone, pace and rhythm of my voice and delivery. In order to guide people, have them trust me in these vulnerable states, I've noticed requires my own level of presence and awareness of my voice. I think these things work hand in hand, and I'd love to work with you on these things too :)

My lessons are designed to help you learn to speak with greater clarity, confidence and natural expression through cultivating mindfulness & presence.


Born in Leicester (England) and raised in South London, I am a native British English speaker that combines mindful awareness with the finer details of spoken English. 


It may sound obvious: the more present and aware of yourself you are when you are speaking, the more aware you become of how you speak.

Improving involves listening, breathing, rhythm and intonation…subtle patterns that allow for natural flow of speech.


Mindfulness is, simply put: paying attention on purpose to one’s inner and outer experience. You can pay attention to physical sensations, your breathing, the weight of your body on a chair, sounds you can hear or colors you see. By bringing mindfulness into the learning process, we’re creating more space (and time) to refine pronunciation, improve expression, and communicate with greater ease in the moment.


I noticed that my voice, tone, intonation and delivery all changed alongside my practice of mindfulness. So, this is the foundation of my approach: combining the practice of presence with the practical skills of British English speech.

Our sessions explore the relationship between mindfulness and speech, helping you become more conscious of your voice, your speaking habits, and the way you express yourself.

What we'll work on:


* Pronunciation: Getting comfortable with the sounds of British English and learning to hear and practice the small details that make a difference.
* Intonation and rhythm: Finding the natural flow of English, how we stress words, change our tone, and bring a little rhythm into the way we speak
* Mindfulness and presence: Learning to be more present when you speak, so you can slow down, listen, and become more aware of your own voice
* Breath and voice: Exploring how your breathing, relaxation, and the way you use your voice can help you speak more naturally and comfortably
* Fluency and confidence: Finding your feet when speaking English, expressing yourself more freely
* Everyday communication: Bringing everything together in real conversations, helping you feel more relaxed, connected, and confident in the way you express yourself

Mindfulness offers a practical way to bring attention to the present moment. Applied to speech, it can help you notice details that might otherwise go unheard: the rhythm of a sentence, the placement of stress, a change in intonation, or the difference between speaking automatically and speaking with intention.


We use this awareness alongside practical accent exercises, guided listening, repetition, and conversation.

Whether you are learning English as an additional language, refining for fluency, or working on more confidence in professional / social settings, each session is adapted to your current level & individual goals.
